Cuan Ryan of Kemp and Kemp Residential teamed up with Professor David Macdonald to pilot a double scull to a controversial "dead heat" result in the Masters race last Sunday morning on The Isis in glorious sunshine.
The outcome of the race was, perhaps, controversial only the eyes of bow seat man, Cuan, who loathed the thought of having to return to the start and 'have another go'. Having only returned from a relaxing holiday in The Highlands of Scotland the day before to hear that he needed to take the place of a comrade who had suffered a back injury he claims he felt "just shy of properly race fit".
A great event and arguably, a respectable result insight of the lack of preparation but Cuan and David have vowed to return next year and settle for nothing less than Gold!
