Promotion Agreement signed on 1,500 units in Wantage

23 August 2012

A Promotion Agreement signed on 1,500 units in Wantage between the Crab Hill Consortium, Wantage and Land Improvement Holdings (LIH) has finally been completed after 15 months of marketing and negotiation.

LIH are now to prepare a planning application for 1,500 residential units, a new East/West relief road, and supporting facilities such as a primary school, open space and other community facilities.

Kemp & Kemp Property Consultants have been retained as agents and planning consultants for this prestigious project.

Chris Wilmshurst MRICS, equity partner at Kemp & Kemp, who handled the marketing and negotiations on this site declared that “I am delighted to finally get this transaction over the line. It is an important project that would make a substantial dent in the current housing shortfall in the Vale of White Horse District, and the landowners believe they have found the right partner in LIH to take the project forward.”
